The most popular genre in Bulgaria and on the Balkans in general - Chalga/Pop Folk/Manele/Tallava/etc. is usually enjoyed in clubs, whose program consists of 100% this kind of music and tend to attract a big audience, mostly consisting of the local common folk. Which is one of the reasons why the other clubs, who offer the alternative, have quite a taboo on sneaking even one or two of these songs in the context of an electronic, or even more eclectic or underground selection. What a shame. Not tonight though.
