Paleman [PLMN / Nonplus / Swamp 81]
For the past 10 years Paleman has been an essential part of the UK bass and leftfield techno scene with multiple releases on Loefah's Swamp 81, Boddika's Nonplus imprint, his own PLMN series as well as the Berlin-based label Zehnin. His sound is innovative and forward-thinking with an emphasis on interesting rhythms, warped vocals, heavy bass, hypnotic repetition and modular techno all informed by his experience as a jazz drummer.
Lara [BLOOM]
Lara Valentine has been following in the footsteps of her older sibling Phoebe Valentine joining the all female collective BLOOM becoming an increasingly regular name on the northern DJ circuit with appearances in venues like the Northern Quarter's Soup and Sheffield's Plot 22 as well as on underground radio stations such as Steam, Netil and Reform Radio. Expect heavy hitting electro, percussive UK bass and more from this rising talent.
Melvin Stewart [Unaffiliated]
Melvin Stewart is an enigmatic young DJ hailing from the pits of the Mancunian dance music scene, with roots in dub, techno, performance art and general tomfoolery. His first point of contact with electronic sounds was the drum and bass emanating from the south of England, where he learned the art of riling up a crowd of revellers into a state of pure ecstasy. Expect glitching, dystopian soundscapes mixed with extremely danceable grooves.
Tying off the bill is Ost resident DJ and bossman Bugs Groove.
