It is nothing short of an honor to present Andres Ordonez aka. Specter - a maverick pushing the gritty house sound of Chicago into new infectious territories since 2001.
A true veteran raised on the dancefloors of loft- and warehouse parties in the 1980s to the raw sounds of Farley Jackmaster Funk, Lil Louis and Ron Hardy. Specter’s sound emanates decades of experience and history - balancing soul and heavy industrial nuances, stemming from disco, boogie to deep house, acid and funk.
Ordonez unique ‘deep jack’ styled take on body music has brought him the likes of Theo Parrish, Marcellus Pittman and Dego amongst others. His debut album ‘Built To Last’ was released on Sound Signature has been hailed as a quintessential take on the modern Chicago sound and proved Specter as a key contributor in evolving house music into new sonic realms.
