The work of Valerio Tricoli is inspired by the album Visioni di Vita Spaziale, composed by Grossi in 1967. This seminal work, realized by Grossi through the use of IT and analog procedures, is configured as an impossible collection of alien sounds (Flying Plates, Storm magnetic), field recordings in unreachable places and only imagined (Venusian Forest), an ethnographic archive of activities and music of extraterrestrial tradition (La fabbrica dei Robot, Music Traditional, Martian Organ).
From these suggestions and the techniques used by Grossi,
the improvisation will take the form of a series of visions or modules that can be rearranged and stacked.
They will live hauntologically in the incongruence of that future - now lost - that moved Grossi’s sensibility.
