SPRINGSTOFF Berlin - ADE Showcase
On Sunday 23rd October, the Springstoff label is hosting an essential showcase at Amsterdam's Dante as part of his year's ADE. Under the title of SPRINGSTOFF Berlin, key label associates and representatives of the real Berlin underground will be playing including a live show from KIDSØ, plus sets from Mila Stern, Rocko Garoni, Oliver Deutschmann and Sylvie Maziarz.
These forward-thinking artists cover a broad spectrum, much like the Springstoff label itself whose next release is a 12" of gorgeous ambient from Johannes Motschman. As such the party will offer everything from live and organic soundscapes to raw Berghain style techno, crisp tech house and industrial-tinged rave from artists who play a key role in shaping the modern Berlin sound thanks to close ties with pivotal clubs and labels like Kater Blau, Embassy of Music, Sisyphos and Klub Verboten.
Leading the charge is the KIDSØ duo with a live set that will feature their trademark synthesizers, drums, kalimbas and percussions. There will also be sets from Berlin-based innovator Mila Stern and the unpredictable mainstay that is Oliver Deutschmann who does everything from understated to visceral. Last of all Sylvie Maziarz brings wall-rattling, strobe lit industrial and rave.
