Airborn (Simon Gurei) is an Estonian EDM, trance & progressive producer currently living in Tallinn. He started creating his own music since 1996 and DJing from 2008. Airborn project was formed in spring 2011 by two Estonian trance producers Andrew Firssov (known as Tetrazone) and Simon Gurei (known as Simon G). Since December 2012 Simon remained as the only member, taking the alias as a single artist.
The Airborn project receives regular support from leading Trance DJs by being featured on shows like A State of Trance, Future Sound of Egypt, Global DJ Broadcast, Find Your Harmony, Transmission, Universal Nation and many others.
His tracks and remixes are often played on small stages and large festivals around the world. Back in 2014 his track "AirBURN (ReOrder 138 Edit)" was named Tune of The Week by Armin van Buuren himself in his weekly "A State of Trance" radishow. The same year Airborn starts his own trance & progressive podcast "Into the Sky".
Since then he has shared the stage with known trance artists like Ferry Corsten, Kyau & Albert, ATB, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Super8 & Tab, Andy Moor, Omnia, Ben Gold and many more and has performed twice at Untold Festival in Romania.
