Deuce began life on Saturday 12th June 1999 playing house music at a house party on a house boat. It's always been about house music. We also love techno, breaks & drum n bass. In fact we just love quality, underground, electronic dance music.
After spending two summers in Ibiza promoting and hiring out sound equipment where we worked with many respected brands including Manumission we decided to return to the UK. Based in Birmingham, we have been heavily involved with the cities 1 music venue, The Custard Factory since 2005. In fact it was The Custard Factory where the Ghetto Blaster made its debut.
Last year Deuce Soundsystem celebrated 10 years of parties with the launch of their giant Ghetto Blaster DJ Sound Stage. Since 2005 The Deuce Crew have been a regular fixture at The Custard Factory hosting rooms for Drop Beats Not Bombs & Stupid Underground as well as The Custard Factory Birthday & New Years Eve events in 2007 & 2008. They’ve also put on their own events booking DJs such as Shane Watcha, Billy Nasty, Tim Sheridan & Jo Mills.
Mogs has been the #1 resident and co promoter of Deuce since he met Adam Deuce in 2005 on Bora Bora Beach, Ibiza. In recent times Mogs has been in huge demand playing regular sets at Birmingham’s newest and freshest venue/night, TRMNL alongside the likes of Reboot & Steve Bug as well as a debut set in 2009 at Ibiza’s Amnesia for Birmingham’s GLAS at legendary night, La Troya.
Tomas Rubeck joined the Deuce fold in 2006 and was quickly offered a residency. His star is also in the ascendancy making huge waves with his productions which have resulted in him a signing for London label Landed Records. With support off the likes of the big man himself Richie Hawtin 2010 could be the year tom becomes a house hold name in the techno world
