Tama Sumo & Lakuti are extremely excited about the first Your Love outing for 2023 in London at Corsica Studios. They especially excited to host one of their favourite crews, Touching Bass.
Over the past six years, Touching Bass has steadily established itself as one of London’s most important musical incubators. More than just a club night, concert series, NTS Radio mainstay and a label, Touching Bass has become something of a movement: a community meeting ground for music lovers and some of the most exciting contemporary music-makers both in the capital and beyond.
2022 saw the release of the utterly beautiful Touching Bass presents: Soon Come. A compilation that righty received accolades from some of the most in-the-know tastemakers out there as well as a great album by South Carolina-based, Khari Lucas aka Contour.
Alex Rita & Errol, will be presenting Touching Bass in Room 2. They have invited another great talent to join them on the night, @K15.
K15 fell into the spotlight thanks to his extraordinary ‘Insecurities’ EP on Kyle Hall’s Wild Oats label, as well as his 'Bordeaux' release on WotNot Music, but house music is only a fraction of his sound. In 2017, he returned to Wild Oats with his 'Speed Of Life' EP and kicked 2018 off with his 'Sunbeams record on renowned Eglo Records as well as a remix for the phenomenal Jazz musician, Nubya Garcia's 'When We Are' EP.
As well as being a seasoned producer, K15’s DJ career has seen him graduate from curious bedroom DJ to international touring DJ, as well as having a long-standing residency at London’s renowned Jazz Café.
Tama Sumo & Lakuti will be taking care of business in Room 1 from start to finish.Bringing a wide selection from a collection spanning around 30 yrs . This one folks is not to be missed.
