ABOUT DEE DIGGS:
Dee Diggs, our guest DJ from NY, bares her soul and loses her inhibitions when she touches the decks. When she plays, she let’s it all show: all the digging for deep cuts & recall of tracks with that certain ‘je ne sais quoi’ or emotional snag to them. She transmits the pure joy that comes from the private practice of devotional appreciation of music.
ABOUT DIG DEEPER:
Dee is joined by Masha Mar and Alison Swing who started Dig Deeper nearly a decade ago in 2014. They came together with a shared love for deeper euphoric house sounds that they wanted to see more frequently on underground LA dance floors. Together they built an event series that would host the likes of Daniele Baldeli, DJ Sprinkles, Axel Boman, Kornel Kovacs, Paramida, Massimiliano Pagliara, Shanti Celeste, K-Hand, The Blessed Madonna & many more
ABOUT THE COFOUNDERS:
Now Alison has been traveling around the world playing some of the most exciting and forward thinking parties around the globe. This included a DJ residency at Renate at her new home in Berlin. LA based Masha Mar started the femme and queer friendly Take it Outside party series with Heidi Lawden. Masha has monthly radio shows on NTS and dublab and has released music on SOS, Femme House, Dusk recordings and most recently an acclaimed EP on Night Prism.
It’s a rare and somewhat annual (maybe semi-annual) occurrence where they come together and bring Dig Deeper back for a special guest.
