It's a family affair as we kick off our 2023 by inviting back Nite School favourite Demetae for a night of cerebral rave-primed techno and electro, with support from residents and good friends Bent DJs, in aid of the Manchester Central Foodbank.
Having spent ample time in the underground club scene, Demetae emerged back in 2014 with a focus on exploring the extremities of techno. In his sets and releases, elements of jungle, electro and modular synthesis are equally present, as he cuts and splices together a heady concoction of mind melting, sonic hedonism. Following his riotous set whilst supporting Chloe Lula at our final party of 2022, we thought it essential that Demetae be invited back to showcase his sound in the headline slot.
In support of Demetae in the basement will be usual suspects Analect, Bloemwerk, David James and Richie NS, with a sonic blend from across the electronic spectrum, whilst our 2022 heroes & honeys BENT DJs take over the upstairs bar.
We are all aware of the strain that families are under in order to afford food & shelter at this time, and as such all proceeds from this event will be donated to the Manchester Central Foodbank to help local families in need.
We also recognise that some of our dancers may be feeling the pinch at the moment, so we have introduced a free / pay what you can afford advance ticket policy for this event, with on the door tickets priced at an affordable £5.
