A night of Techno in Tullamore with legendary irish DJ Jon Hussey with support from Tullamore native StringFella (album Launch)
Tullamore welcomes back a pioneer of the Irish Techno scene Jon Hussey for an explosive night of Techno at the Phoenix bar in the very center of Tullamore.
Jon has played along side some of the biggest techno names in the world like Surgeon, Joey Beltram, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke and too many more to mention. Jon will be supported on the night From Local Dj StringFella who is launching his debut album "altered cognition" on the same night.

Jon Hussey, a pioneer of the Irish Techno scene DJing since the early nineties, kick-starting at the infamous Planet Dub night in Dublin. He has promoted and resided at many Techno clubs throughout Ireland as well as playing in many Techno havens across the world including Amsterdam, London, New York, Bratislava, Berlin, Leeds and Turin.
Music wise Jon has played alongside many of his all time favourite artists from Plaid to Surgeon, Joey Beltram, Jeff Mills, Steve Bicknell, Sunil Sharpe, Takaaki Itoh, Ancient Methods, Loktibrada, Rumenige, Dave Clarke, Mark Broom, Henning Baer, Inigo kennedy, Neil Landstrumm, Reeko, Grovskopa, DJ Boss, Bas Mooy, Perc, Hardfloor, Oscar Mulero, Jerome Hill, AnD, Truss, Paula Temple, Christian Wunsch and Exium!!
Recently the national radio station (2FM) were quoted in their Late Night Sessions Blog as stating that “Jon Hussey is one of the longest serving true purveyors of Techno in Ireland, running nights in the early days of Dublin's dance scene, when techno to most people meant U96 or 2 Unlimited. Consistently one of the best DJs around, Jon never lets the side down” giving a rare insight into Jon's personality as a DJ!

StringFella is an Irish Dj and producer who is known for his old school flavor of house and techno music with a modern twist.
StringFella first began Djing in 2012 and went on to release 10 singles and shared the stage with some of Ireland and United Kingdom's best djs and music producers including Mode_1, Jon Hussey, Ngoni Egan and Jon Hemming to name a few.
StringFella has released 10 singles to date being Featured on RTE, BBC and many more Fm radio stations, featuring on numerous online publications and blogs to great acclaim.
StringFella boosted his popularity even further when his track was played on the legendary RTE show “An Taobh Tuathail” Ireland's longest running house and techno show hosted by DJ Cian o ciohain . In addition, “Heel Hooked” has been featured on DJ Dave O'Reilly's Underground Ireland on the global Radio Cork station receiving track of the week.
Stringfella draws his inspiration from artists Boris Brejcha, Phaxe, Guy J and Boral Kibil and various others. He combines elements from the different styles of his favorite artists and blends them together to form what he affectionately refers to as his own “electronic cocktail "style.
Stringfella plans to continue to build on the momentum built on his previous single releases by releasing an album in the upcoming months. He has been hard at work in his studio and can’t wait to share his passion with others within the house and techno loving community.
