Blossoming up from the ground of London’s music scene comes ‘Flourishing Sounds’, from Nebula. This is a night fully focused on the DJs who have seeded their sounds, firmly in the capital city’s music scene over the past couple of years. Pinning our ears on raw talent, for a night of music to make you dance - right through to the end.
Here, we’ve selected four DJs who represent the message we’re putting out. Four DJs who have caught our attention throughout the years and we know are going to take us all on a journey. Welcome in GABS, Gus Emmett, FAIDE and Greg Nox. Come join us at Bar 512 in the bustling Dalston, from 10 pm, straight through to 6 am.
GABS: Our leading lady is a London-based name to look out for. From playing small, intimate parties across the city, GABS radiates true energy across her sets, leaving the crowd dancing right from her pressing play.
Gus Emmett: No sound is off-limits with Gus. This is a DJ who has a record collection which extends further then you could ever imagine. Gus’ raw talent for understanding the room and the task set at hand is second to none. From the hidden corners of forest parties to small basements tucked away in London - and even to the sunnier climes of Portugal - Gus has played far and wide - and always left those surrounded by his soundwaves captivated, for months on end.
FAIDE: Okay, so we’re stepping slightly outside of London for our discovery of FAIDE. But certainly not far to trek: Brighton. FAIDE may have caught our eye through his DJing, but with his production catalogue including releases on labels Frau Blau, Piano B and Stil vor Talent, FAIDE’s sound is becoming known not only in the UK but all over the world - such as Burning Man to New York. Expect vibrant energy, laden with generous layers of melody, made for you to escape.
Greg: He’s just released a ‘Nebula’ EP (Magnetik Music), so really our party is the perfect timing for Greg. A background stemmed rich in art, Greg’s musical mind explores an abundance of different textures and musical formations: you’ll see this clearly present within his own releases, which forge together smooth trance-laden melodies, abstract nuances and with plenty of character.
