With an open ear to all eras and styles, the London-based NTS resident and DJ Felix Hall brings eclecticism and an element of surprise to the sometimes purist worlds of Dancehall and Reggaeton.
He's the first port of call for promoters across the UK and Europe when they need a selector with an encyclopaedic knowledge of Jamaican sound system culture and a breakneck mixing technique. For the uninitiated, his 2016 mixtape release on The Trilogy Tapes "Warning", is the perfect distillation of his era-crossing selection style.
Sim Simma is a collective of DJs, producers and MCs who specialise in creating inclusive, friendly and high energy parties around the world. Their passion for music extends across various styles such as reggae, calypso, dancehall, grime, afrobeat, highlife, cumbia and música popular Brasileira.
Since 2014, Sim Simma has grown from a weekly social clubnight in Dublin to hosting international boat parties, running festival stages and hosting high calibre DJs & MCs. Previous clients include Outlook Festival, Urban Bahia, Life Festival, Electric Picnic, Body&Soul, The Beatyard and All Together Now.
Most recently, the collective have launched their own label Sim Simma Records, with their debut EP 'Pass The Aux Cord' released in early 2019 to critical acclaim from BBC Radio 1 legend Annie Mac, among many other DJs and tastemakers in the underground club scene. To follow this, the group have set up a live soundsystem with guest MCs and dancers in front of the core DJs to create an exhilarating show available for concert tours and festivals.
