London's Mr Beatnick has hosted his radio show on NTS for 12 years, whilst putting out well-received 12"s on Don't Be Afraid, Tief and Mythstery and co-hosting his Happy Cycling monthly in Dalston. His new album Joy In Variation is set to drop this summer.
Henry Keen is a prolific producer behind alias The Room Below, the bands Soundspecies and Electric Jalaba who are both regulars on the festival circuit, and made waves with his soulful broken beat album Freedom Of Movement last year. His sound has its roots in soulful detroit techno, hip hop and jazz and was informed by years of honing his craft on the Plastic People sound system at legendary talent incubator CDR.
Amaechi is one of the minds behind afro-inspired music and culture party series Okoro, spinning pan-african sounds across amapiano, deep house, kudoro and more, and will perform with long time mc partner Tej
on the night.
Essa, the rapper formerly known as Yungun, is a stalwart of the UK underground hip hop scene and is well known for his releases on First Word among others. Essa will perform a live PA sure to get the party hyped.
And finally, your host for the evening, swiss-born beat digger Breakplus, mpc maestro and drum break connaisseur, sure to melt a few faces with some rare wax and plenty more..
