Kicking off 2023 extra strong with this year's first iteration of their residency, Lost Soul Enterprises are beyond thrilled to finally welcome ALIENATA to the decks at Good Room! Originally from Spain, now based in Berlin, the self-described sound obsessive and Discos Antonicos label boss has been DJing in clubs in Europe and around the world since 2004, but this will be only the second time she's blessed NYC with her signature tapestry of obscure electro, acid, dub, IDM, dark disco, jakbeat, hypnotic techno, industrial atmospheres and crazy sounds in general - the only previous time being 2012 at legendary DIY venue Shea Stadium BK. Coming fresh off huge recent sets at Berghain and Khidi, she is sure to tear the roof off, so let's give her a proper New York welcome!
Also ripping in the main room is machine maestro SHAWN O'SULLIVAN performing a live hardware set of slamming analog techno and industrial rhythms. Under aliases such as Vapauteen, 400ppm, Civil Duty & Garum (both w/Beau Wanzer) and one half of Further Reductions, Shawn has been a steady force in shaping NYC's noise-wave-techno landscape for more than a decade. This will be his first big peak time live set since the pandemic (and an unfortunate Covid-releated reschedule last fall), so we can't wait to hear what he has in store!
And finally our resident acid witch L.SANGRE presides over the opening rituals in the main room with an acidic beatdown of industrial strength and full flavor to make you jak, soar, cry, and groove...
In the Bad Room DJ duties will be courtesy of ROGELIO and R GAMBLE. Expect a constantly bubbling cauldron of Italo sleaze, industrial breakbeats, laser zaps, contorted acid tracks, and gothic anthems from start to finish.
