We are happy to once again invite you to the second edition of Diaspora Sessions on the 23rd of February at Häktet. We invite you to an intimate music experience with a live set by upcoming R'n'B artist Meron and rhythmic DJ sets by Ingrid Aleixo, Jinku, Jazz and Mansa.
Meron Mitku describes her music as an interpretation of the Swedish R'n'B /soul scene yet with a new and innovative take on its sound and lyrics. She found her voice by singing in a choir and gained prominence by posting videos of her singing on snapchat. Her talent has since been widely appreciated and in 2021 she released a single on Halebop Creative Call.
We have also invited DJ Alexi (Ingrid Aleixo) who will be brining you an energetic set seamlessly blending everything from amapiano to baile funk tracks inspired by her Brazilian roots.
As always Diaspora collective DJs Mansa, Jazz and Jinku will bring you a blend of amapiano, kuduro and baile funk and finish of the night with some genre bending up tempo music inspired by the sounds of the diasporas.
