DROP Soundsystem is a new formation of House talents who represent the core sound of our movement. This unison of producers represents an important step for DROP as a brand as we continue to double down on our values of community and strive to support the hottest emerging House talent of the city. Every artist has been lovingly chosen because their sound and ethos align perfectly with DROP, and we are excited to watch the crew develop as a team of DJs side by side. DROP Soundsystem will play both in Barcelona and internationally over the next year, and we are very excited to launch our inaugural party with them at Sala Upload this April. Virginie AKA Gee Lane is a true treasure of the Ciudad Condal and now crew-member of Toy Tonics. Expect an exquisite musical selection which fuses Soul, Funk, House, Disco and Afrobeat: this is bold, cheeky music that oozes passion and is guaranteed to get you dancing.
The Venezuelan-born DJ spent her formative years in 90s New York; it is here she refined her unique musical style. She has played at renowned festivals both internationally and nationally (DGTL, Primavera Sound, Sónar, SoundEat, Down by the Laituru, Cruilla Fest) as well as consistently appearing at Barcelona's top music venues (Soho House, Marula Café, Razzmatazz). Tune in to ‘Vibe Delicious’ on CC Radio to hear the quality of her music selection.

Our favourite resident will be taking you on a journey to the underground House parties of New York with his trademark feel-good sound. Expect gospel highs, soulful riffs and a thumping bass-line that’ll leave you in a state of pure ecstasy. The rising star of the international House scene is one to watch: he has a string of top releases on internationally acclaimed labels such as Soulfuric, Defected and Seamus Hajji´s dance imprint. Artists such as Folamour & Cinthie have been seen supporting his productions. He and is also the creative force behind Poetry in Motion records with fellow brothers Hurlee and Oui.
▂▂ Norman Doray ▂▂
Norman Doray´s career so far has been quite the journey, having released music on labels such as Defected, Atlantic and Avicii’s LE7ELS, and DJing at major festivals such as Tomorrowland, Creamfields and ULTRA on multiple occasions. But the rebirth of Norman is what makes him so interesting: now returning to his “roots”, Norman is focussed on pure Disco & French Touch sounds, taking all his past experience to create a fresher sound that we cannot get enough of.

Beniso is renowned for soulful House grooves and bassy rhythms. His sets pay homage to the real underground House scene of New York, Detroit and Chicago with his high-energy yet artfully selected dance-floor killers that'll keep your feet stomping, and classic tunes chopped, sampled and overlayed to perfection. The Parisian born DJ and promoter is one of the creative forces behind DROP Dance Society. The sound of D.R.O.P through and through – prepare yourself for irresistibly dance-ready music.

Mona Lee brings an original performance, spicing up her DJ sets with live vocals. From disco to disco and house music of all genres, that’s what she serves. Her definition of house music? When it comes from the soul, you’ll feel the groove into your shoes. In September 2022 her first release “Joyful life” came out with Kerri Chandler on his new album “Spaces & Places”. Catch her festivals such as Dimensions, Tomorrowland & Sziget.

Merging the essence of the past with the intensity of today, Vince Void creates music that coalesces a wide palette of cultures, resources, and styles. Listening to his DJ sets feels like taking a journey into an array of musical genres and time periods.
His productions guide listeners through an eclectic musical pilgrimage that ranges from African edits to a swirlpool of acid house and Italo disco. A member of “Cúpula Recordings” and DROP crew member, the French-Catalan DJ has also released on labels such as Simplexia & Italo Moderni.

Energetic, innovative and eclectic are just a few words you can choose to describe the prolific sound Lis Sarroca has been propelling in recent years, continuously drawing influences from her half Spanish, half Mexican background, and sprinkling in flavours from her current city of residence, Barcelona. Whether tuning in to one of her genre melding DJ sets around Europe and beyond, her storytelling online mixes for the likes of HÖR Berlin and Rinse FM, or whether you find yourself absorbing her tight and emphatic productions - you will undoubtedly feel the Sarroca effect.

DROP is a Barcelona-based dance music movement celebrating true dance music culture. We welcome all those with open minds and open hearts to join the ritual. Let us take you on a musical journey through the history of House, Disco, Funk, Soul and Groove from the lofts of Chicago, Detroit and NY winding up in the basements of Berlin, Amsterdam and London. Our philosophy is simple: 'Music is made for dancing, and everybody is equal on the dancefloor". Turn off your phone, turn on your heart, let's dance.
