One year of Liminoid calls for big LIM1NOID ANNIVERSARY celebrations
///// ONE YEAR WITH YOU
We can't believe it's already one year since we started this adventure. It started between friends with a love for electronic music, sharing passions and knowledge and organizing parties . And it was exactly that!
But oh boy we really overdid it. We had a total of ten events, between workshops parties and concerts. Most importantly, along the way we built a community around us that we like to call family. We are impressed by the love and support we received and keep receiving every day. And we can only say a big THANK YOU for that!
We try our best to give to our community <3 We have been trying to encourage the development in Groningen of an ethical and liminal non-business-oriented approach to parties, inclusivity, safety, and more.
We put an effort in trying to stimulate the local live electronic music scene with our Modular Attack.
We had great house and techno showcases. We tried to put an emphasis on vinyl with the DJ workshops.
We had ambient and music for food, while organizing social dinners with our lovely chef.
We received input from many people which prompted new ideas, and we remain open more than ever to collaborations with whoever has exciting ideas!
We grew ourselves as artists & organizers learning many lessons on the way, while preciously establishing great relationships with the venues who hosted us and the guest artists who joined in, marrying our core values.
Music and the community stay central. We will keep on shaping and proposing our Liminoid sounds and formats, for which there's already many activities planned this coming year!
///// THE EVENT
Doors open at 14:00 !
To start the year with a boom, we are going to celebrate our 1year anniversary at parhaps the place who meant most for us this year. The ORKZ.
Prepare for a full day of celebrations and activities.
We will have a day programme (14:00 - 20:00) with music, market, expos and food. Transitioning into a twilight programme (20:00 - 22:00) with an electronic live performance concert shifting us into the night mood, which we will experience with our techno showcase in the club night (22:00 - 07:00).
Day programme is free, dinner is charged and with reservation. Twilight/night programme is one ticket. ONLY DOOR SALE. If you arrive at the beginning 08:00-09:00 you pay half price.
