BOU (MC HARIBO)
Manchester's rising star and 4 time award winner Bou is undeniably a household name in the drum & scene genre. Having quickly risen through the ranks off the back of countless number one releases, such as his remix for Shy FX, he has demonstrated why he is at the top of his game. Through his consistency and creativity both in his production and on stage, it is no surprise that Bou has cemented himself as the most exciting act in the scene. With the highly anticipated launch of his new label Gossip, he is only pushing his sound further and leading a new generation of artists.
K MOTIONZ (MC IC3)
Kallum Brookes aka K Motionz is arguably the most exciting and hotly tipped newcomer on the D&Bcircuit. Over the last 3 years he's cemented himself as a fan favourite across the globe and leads thecharge of a pack. Having released his debut album The Evolution at just 18, he's since toured the world,performed at every major British Music festival and 2021 has seen his star continue to rise withheavyweight releases including 'Hack It', 'Reaction' feat IC3, 'Tell You', 'Round Ere' along with 'Infnite(Freedom) released on Wilkinsons label. and more recently the massive 'High Note' feat Emily Makiswhich is getting heavy Radio 1 rotation.
CHARLIE TEE (MC SAVVY B)
In a world obsessed with stereotypes and genre pigeonholing, Charlie Tee continues to carve out her own lane representing a versatile array of sounds, both on-air and in her DJ sets. Newly crowned as the first permanent female host of BBC Radio 1’s Drum & Bass show, Charlie Tee’s expansive knowledge of electronic dance music, broadcasting and DJing experience (spanning 10 years), make her a truly unique act. As a DJ, Charlie’s infectious high-energy sets are what she’s renowned for and some of her gig highlights include: Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, Warehouse Project, Printworks, Elrow, Fabric, Hospitality, Snowboxx, Ibiza Rocks, NASS, Boomtown, Boardmasters and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend.
As a Broadcaster, Charlie first cut her teeth as the face of Drum & Bass Arena’s legendary D&BTV, before spending an impressive 8 years hosting her own weekly Friday night show on the Kiss networks. An advocate for emerging talent, Charlie has been key to elevating some of dance music’s rising stars including Nia Archives, Ewan McVicar, Syreeta, AC13 and Kara, whilst hosting guest mixes for the likes Hot Since 82, Catz "N Dogz, Cristoph and S.P.Y.
Charlie’s impressive knowledge of electronic music and warm, affable nature recently caught the attention of BBC Radio 1 and promptly saw her cover some of the stations most coveted shows including: Friday night’s iconic Dance Party (Danny Howard), Future Dance for Sarah Story and Sound System Party (Jeremiah Asiamah) which ultimately lead to her landing her very own slot on Saturday nights, as the host of Radio 1's D&B show, where she broadcasts live weekly at 11pm.
MOZEY
Michael Hitches, known to most as 'Mozey' made his mark with his track Ladykillaz - a modern day DNB classic that cemented him as a key player with an international fan base in 2020. He followed this up with a release schedule that reads like a bucket list of modern Drum and Bass labels - Hospital Records, V Recordings, 31 Records, Elevate, Serial Killaz and the list goes on. In the last 12 months Mozey has played at some of the biggest venues in the UK and Europe including Printworks and Tobacco Docks in London, Belgium, Prague, Barcelona and has just come back from a headline tour of New Zealand and Australia. This tour capped off a summer full of festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bassfest and many more. Mozey is now a resident DJ on one of dance music’s leading radio stations Rinse FM, a firm fan favourite due to his social media antics and with a string of high-profile releases on the way you can expect to see his name everywhere in the next 12 months.
AMA
Ama has been consistently turning heads in the scene – especially since lockdown. Live streams for Heavy Sonics, Ram Records and Shogun Audio, combined with guest mixes for House of Hi-Fi, Hospital Records’ Degs Cast and Rinse FM, have helped the Bournemouth-based artist to become a name gaining rapid momentum. But her reputation as a music selector stems back much further. From international bookings as far as South Africa and the US, to DJ sets at Outlook, Boomtown and Red Bull’s Open House, Ama has spent years gaining global recognition for her ability behind the decks. DJ Flight included Ama in her 2019 Black History Month series highlighting reputable black women in dance music – a true honour for an artist who began her D&B journey in 2011 DJing vinyl with a burning passion for the culture. Inspired by pioneers such as Andy C, Randall, Calibre and Break, you can guarantee Ama’s mixes will ooze influence from the best.
STRICTLY SOULFUL
Strictly Soulful Drum n Bass has been at the frontline of the DnB scene in Peterborough since 2005. Offering the full spectrum of Drum n Bass music for the last 17 years. Strictly Soulful parties always bring a great vibe and some of the best top name drum n bass headliners the city has ever seen. Strictly Soulful has brought some of the finest DnB headliners to Peterborough from Andy C, Shy FX, Chase & Status to Pendulum and many many more.
Repsenting Strictly at Under we have DJs Instant, Tredda & Kloak and MC's Sparka, Linden D & Drax. They bring high octane sounds and great vibes to every party. Expect some dancefloor slammers, high energy rollers and a few classics thrown in for good measure from this squad.
SIN CENTRAL
Established in 2021 and supporting the heavier sub genres of Drum and Bass, SIN CENTRAL have quickly made a name for themselves as the number one outfit in Peterborough to deliver that Jump up sound. Hosting sold out shows at the cities Met Lounge with some of the biggest names in Jump up DNB including, Amplify, Sota, Ego Trippin and many more.
Representing Sin Central at Under we have Subsinner, Dsire & Gboid - the collective trio behind everything SIN CENTRAL. Joining them are fan favourite resident MC’s, Mookz, TJAY & MCBC. Together you can expect the same high energy vibe they deliver at each one of their shows.
WHAT IS UNDER?
The Under concept is an outdoor dance event that rivals any UK production of its size. We bring the world's best DJs to Peterborough, as well as priding ourselves on ensuring local DJs and producers have a platform to perform. Artists such as Maur, Alisha, C.O.Z, Volaris, Micah Baxter, ADR and Roobinz have all played their first gigs at Mixology and have since gone on to be recognised nationally and internationally.
Under in 2021 seen Skream headline our first event in August. 2022 Under was back with 2 events in April & August featuring Solardo, Darius Syrossian, East End Dubs, Alisha, Maur, Volaris and many others.

ACCESS / LOCATION / SAT NAV
Drop off point for Mixology UNDER is Orton Lock Car Park located at Orton Mere, Peterborough (please use the car park name (Orton Lock Car Park) for SAT NAV, not the postcode). The access will be through Oundle Road Orton Mere turn, Peterborough. The event is a 3 minute walk from the car park. Stewards & signage will be in place to direct you to the entrance. We do not recommend using the Boathouse / Rowing Club side for accessing or leaving the event.
PARKING
Besides Orton Lock Car Park, we will also have the Orton Mere Station Car Park in use for this event only. Both car parks are located at Orton Mere, Peterborough (please don’t use the postcode for sat nav, use car park name). Both car parks will be available with fees. We encourage using public transport / lifts / taxis. Parking charges are in place with the option to pay at a pay machine or via an app. Car parks are managed by Nene Park Trust and all parking fees go towards supporting the work of the Trust.
