Passion Électronique: The unique concert night in the Philharmonie Berlin combines tango with classical and electronic sounds of the club scene.
The event is held for the benefit of Uplift-Aufwind e.V.
With the actress Martina Gedeck, the accordionist Aydar Gaynullin, the Canadian world-famous trio Cobblestone Jazz, the producer Jay Medvedeva, the soprano Zarina Altynbayeva, the World Phil Berlin and tango dancers from the Tangoloft Berlin, outstanding artists will be on stage, which you cannot otherwise experience in this combination. We guarantee you a Berlin concert and performance highlight in 2023!
The passionate actress Martina Gedeck opens the evening with a reading.
This is followed by excerpts from Bach's "Art of Fugue" for string quartet and the aria "Have mercy" from his St. Matthew Passion. How strong Bach's influence was on tango composers such as Piazzolla or Villa Lobos becomes clear in the compositions selected for the concert evening, which will be interpreted by a tango ensemble, the renowned accordionist Aydar Gaynullin and professional tango dancers.
In the second part of the evening, club sounds and ethereal sounds fill the hall, creative work of the trio Cobblestone Jazz (live electronic) and the producer Jay Medvedeva (live electronic with violin and piano).

Den Abend eröffnet die passionierte Schauspielerin Martina Gedeck mit einer Lesung.
Es folgen Auszüge aus Bachs „Kunst der Fuge“ für Streichquartett sowie die Arie „Erbarme Dich“ aus seiner Matthäus-Passion. Wie stark Bachs Einfluss auf Komponisten des Tango wie beispielsweise Piazzolla oder Villa Lobos war, wird in den für den Konzertabend ausgesuchten Kompositionen deutlich, die von einem Tango-Ensemble, dem renommierten Akkordeonisten Aydar Gaynullin und professionellen Tangotänzern interpretiert werden.
Im zweiten Teil des Abends füllen Clubsounds und Sphärenklänge den Saal, kreatives Werk des Trios Cobblestone Jazz (live electronic) und der Produzentin Jay Medvedeva (live electronic mit Violine und Klavier).
