Free Your Mind Festival is one of the longest running techno festivals in the Netherlands and was founded in 2004. The festival, which annually takes place at the beginning of June, consists of two days and has been located on historic grounds at the Stadsblokken in Arnhem since the very first edition. For example, the Battle of Arnhem in the Second World War was fought on the site where thousands of visitors now visit the Free Your Mind Festival every year.
Free Your Mind represents a smooth blend of House, Techno and subgenres or crossovers. Since 2004, the biggest names in the electronic music industry have been roped in to play at Free Your Mind Festival. For example, Paul Kalkbrenner, Audio Bullys, Reinier Zonneveld, Charlotte de Witte, Boris Brechja and many others have played at Free Your Mind Festival. This year the 20th edition of Free Your Mind Festival will take place and by moving along with developments in electronic music, Free Your Mind is more relevant than ever in 2023!
