Rita Mikhael, aka E-SAGGILA has been a vital and dissident voice in music for over a decade, from her early days of blackened noise with her Summer Isle label in Toronto to international acclaim with releases on Hospital Productions, Northern Electronics, PAN, Opal Tapes and more. She has just recently released a new EP “Rainstain”
Her music is both emotive and darkly serrated --and constantly evolving--, disintegrating the ideas of techno into breakbeat and gabber infused abstractions. Headlining the event with a DJ set, expect heavy low end onslaughts, hectic bursts of pulsing intensity and moments of elegiac ambient.
Joining her will be PRAVIK, fresh off the release of his new "LIVE PUNISHMENT" EP release, who will deliver a live PA modular set of punk-centric techno sprints and industrial rave-ups.
SORB, industrial punks that are a crucial voice, locally and soon beyond, with this project that speaks to the ideas of displacement, police brutality, exile, and anti-fascism. With Farsi vocals, EBM and techno are in equal inspiration to Kurdish Iranian sounds in their surging live set.
God's Mom- Performing live behind the release of their new EP, combine elements of noise, EBM, and trance, with Italian sung vocals, that speak to their heritage, and a modern portrait of womanhood.
