If you are a music lover that likes to catch a groove, we have a selection of DJs that will bring that dancefloor heat on the Good Friday of the Easter Bank Holiday spinnin' some old and new Reggae, Funk, Soul, Hip Hop, Jazz-Funk, Modern Funk, Disco, New Jack Swing, House Music, Broken Beat, Afro and Latin Rhythms and all in between. Heavy platters for those who like to get down or just cool out grabbing a tasty crafted beer from the bar or munching on some delicious pizza ordering from next door and eating in with plenty of space to chill.
The new (ish) Tap Room in the heart of East London is the place to be, with a rotating selection of ales, lagers and stouts on tap, + pop-up events space. Initially opening as a pop-up, they’re now a full and thriving part of Brick Lane’s scene and pride themselves in offering an ever changing range of beers, handpicked by their beer loving team and which is sourced from local and independent breweries.
The DJs:
Deeply influenced by both soulful rhythms and electronic music, AudDicted arises from eclectic music selections embodied in sonic ambiences in terraces and lounges, providing music curations for art exhibitions and dancefloor mayhem in clubs and festivals since 2005. Diggin' in London's crates since 2012, AudDicted is a regular DJ of the Brixton Village Lates parties and many other spots across the London underground scene and hosts a monthly radio show on BMC Radio. His record bag will surely keep your feet moving and your body groovin'.
Mathias Linzatti hails from Sweeden and is a recognised digger connoisseur based in London. During his years living in Stockholm, he co-founded the legendary 10 Years Deep Hägring parties. Together with his brother Staffan Linzatti, he runs Searchlights Records. In London, he is part of the regular line up of #UNiTY's annual JAMuary party. Linzatti also hosts a late night radio show 'Shut The Lights Off!!' on LooseFM and plays casual parties with his unique deep, dynamic and soulful disco beatdown signature.
Mr Groove is a UK based Funk and Soul enthusiast. He has been influenced by music, fashion and street dance for the last 15 years. With a deep passion for percussive instrumental breaks, be prepared to travel between the soulful textures and melodies of the 70s, 80s & 90s sound and beyond. He is super keen to promote the Funk and share positive energy through the universe and the intergalactic good vibes zone through his vinyl and digital collection.
Optimus Funk aka Adrian Burton is a London-based DJ, digger and former street dancer who breathes funk, disco, and jazz. His background in street dance is evident in the way he moves between styles and eras. From Disco and Breaks, to Boogie and Modern Funk and even the odd retro video game music reference, he glides effortlessly between genre staples and hidden gems alike. Often with a crew of dancer mates in tow, you’ll never find the dance floor with their backs up against the wall.
