Tec-Troit Electronic Music Festival Is an all-ages, family-friendly, free electronic music festival located in Detroit MI. The festival focuses on spotlighting Detroit-based musicians and artists. Meaning the festival only books the hard-working musicians that grind it out week to week in the city. Luckily Detroit is home to Techno and there are plenty of talented artists to perform. Along with this, Tec-Troit is committed to educating the youth and the community about this Detroit-created music style that has taken the world by storm called Techno. To achieve this, in addition to world-class DJ sets and live performances, the event offers workshops and lectures from prominent Detroit musicians.
