Berlin-born and based Regent has manifested his old school infused yet future-leaning techno sound with a constant output of functional records released on key record labels since 2020. Reliably founded on fast-paced drums and thick low ends, Regent‘s sonics are known to present emotive and anthemic narratives with storytelling always at the core.
Numerous releases on key players such as ARTS, Mutual Rytm or Planet Rhythm Records, illustrate the artist's ability to melt fierce heavy grooves and tender cerebral qualities together into one seamless musical endeavour.
As a DJ, Regent provides a similar approach behind the booth – drifting more into the 2000s-reminiscent sound of hardgroove techno and its tribal roots, while always pursuing a diverse and evolving sonic experience.
