Leading Machine Soul’s follow up to their first Førge Workroom party is Manchester’s most exciting DJ of the moment, Aletha.
We first came across Aletha last year when she played at Eastern Bloc Records in Manchester, a venue impossible to ignore, and one Machine Soul will be taking over at the end of April. Aletha’s knowledge of every shade and colour of warm electronic music put her at the top of our wish list and so we’re absolutely made up to be able to welcome her for her first visit to Sheffield.
We cannot wait for Aletha to share with you her encyclopedic knowledge of all the genres we love, earning her residencies at Worldwide FM, Rinse FM, many gigs around Europe, along with her own party at The Loft in Manchester.
Maurice Fulton played an extended set at the first party, with three hours of utter magic, paired with a lovely crowd that made their way down on a cold, January night.
Machine Soul’s Sirrey and Benedict will be providing the support, and we cannot wait to see you all there - when the sun stream’s into the Workroom as we dance into the morning.
