日本中のダンスミュージックラバーに朗報！二度と来ないであろうと思われていた Eric Prydz の日本公演が正式に決定。
2004年 Call On Me を皮切りに数々の楽曲が世界的ヒットし一躍その名が知られ、近年では巨大なスクリーンに映し出される3D ホログラムのオーディオビジュアルライブセット HOLO で近年注目を集める Eric Prydz が WOMB に登場。
※当日は HOLO でなく DJ SET です。
Eric Prydz に加えて、日本におけるテクノシーンのパイオニアであり、東洋のテクノ・ゴッドとして知られるテクノDJ／プロデューサー KEN ISHII と、世界最大のフェス ADE や、ヨーロッパツアーなどで数々の LIVE をこなし、Christian Smith のレーベルの Tronic や、Monika Kruse のレーベル Terminal M からもリリースを重ね、世界に通用する日本人アーティストの1組になったテクノデュオ DRUNKEN KONG がメインフロアに出演する。
Eric Prydz は、スウェーデン・ストックホルム出身のショー DJ 兼プロデューサーである。
2004年にリリースされた"CallOnMe"が (UK シングル・チャートで5週連続で首位をマーク)を皮切りに、“Proper Education”、“Pjanoo”、“Opus” など数々のシングルが世界的ヒットし、一躍その名が知られるようになり、EDM をはじめ、トランスやハウス、そしてテクノまでといった幅広いジャンルの音楽関係者から絶大なる支持されている。
Eric Prydz は同郷ストックホルムで一緒に育ち親友同士で切っても切れない仲だった Axwell、Sebastian Ingrosso、Steve Angello と共に EDM 界をリードしていた伝説的グループ Swedish House Mafia の原型となる初期グループを組んでいたのは有名な話。そして、彼の代名詞的となったホログラムショーにおいては、アリーナクラスで毎回完売が続き、世界中でチケットの争奪戦が繰り広げられており、音楽と最先端の映像技術を駆使した先進的なパフォーマンスは、一生に1度は見なければ行けないとまで広く認められている。
今回の来日公演は2023年5月11日(木) 東京・WOMB、12日(金) 大阪・CLUB JOULE、13日(土) 東京・CLUB ZEROTOKYO の3公演が予定されている。
今回、初となるワールド・ ツアーをスタートさせることで、日本だけでなく 世界中で歓喜の声が広がっている。日本のミュージックシーンに新しい歴史が生まれる日であろう。
Good news for dance music lovers all over Japan! Eric Prydz, who was never expected to come to Japan again, is officially coming to Japan.
This time, he is scheduled to perform in Japan on May 11th (Thu) at WOMB in Tokyo, May 12th (Fri) at CLUB JOULE in Osaka, and May 13th (Sat) at CLUB ZEROTOKYO in Tokyo.

Starting with the 2004 release of "CallOnMe" (which topped the UK Singles Chart for 5 consecutive weeks), he has since become a household name with numerous singles such as "Proper Education," "Pjanoo," and "Opus" becoming international hits, his name has become well-known and has been widely supported by music professionals in a wide range of genres, from EDM to trance, house, and techno.
It is well known that Eric was in an early group that became the prototype for Swedish House Mafia, the legendary group that led the EDM scene with Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso, and Steve Angello who grew up together in their hometown of Stockholm and were inseparable friends. His hologram shows, which have become synonymous with the show, are always sold out in the arena class venues, and there is a worldwide battle for getting tickets. His advanced performances, which make full use of music and cutting-edge visual technology, are widely recognized as a must-see at least once in a lifetime.
The start of his first world tour has been greeted with joy not only in Japan, but also around the world.
The May show in Japan will be a DJ SET, but it will be a day when a new history will be made in the Japanese music scene.
