> John Wiese is an artist and composer living in Cleveland and Los
Angeles. Recently he has presented a new commission from Ina/GRM
(Paris) and released collaborative albums with Drew Daniel (Matmos)
and Dean Spunt on Drag City Records.
> Strain of Laws, the cryptic duo of Aaron Hemphill (Nonpareils, Liars)
and John Wiese (Sissy Spacek), is a bleak industrial landscape bathed
in heavy hypnotics and mood-drenched vocals. Formed in 2010's Venice,
California, and cauldron-brewed in a low hanging fog.
> Su dance110, the music alias of Dan Su, is a transdisciplinary artist, composer, musician and choreographer, who work with sound and movement centering around the interplay of ontology, cybernetics, psychology, and methodology. Their music is multidimensional, oscillating among the extremities of contemplative, explosive, poetic, soulful and wild, with a touch of narrative characteristic. The compositions of su dance110 infuse rigorous structures with free experimentations, using nonstandard music notation, object, movement and voice as vehicles. With a background in dance and performance art, their music extends auditory hallucinations to distinct performative experiences.
“E Flyming” is part of the trilogy composition “Flyming” which stands for the movement of the fishbird in various landscapes. With thick drones, intertwined noise, fluctuating beats and voice, it evokes inner screams in the night sky.
