Loads of top Irish DJ's and producer's come together to raise funds for detroit Legend Delano Smith.
The reason behind the event is because Delano Smith was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer last year, is currently undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatment. His friends and family are hoping to raise $250,000 to help pay medical bills that his own health insurance does not cover.
Born in Chicago but raised in Detroit, Smith is a name lauded by the likes of Jeff Mills, Juan Atkins, Norm Talley and numerous others. Known for both deep house and techno, the veteran artist has multiple releases under his own label, Mixmode Recordings, as well as Sushitech Records. One of his most recent records was Deeper Fundamentals 2.
