Khoinix presents: Necropolis Festival II

  • Have you ever wanted to dance to industrial techno & EBM in a church? Well, now’s your chance! We are returning back to The Old Church on June 24th in London. You'll be able to enjoy a selection of DJs who will perform live and DJ sets in different styles, from dark wave, dark disco, EBM, hypnotic techno to industrial techno and everything in between. Once you step inside Necropolis, it’s hard to leave. So grab your friends and get ready for an experience you’ll never forget! ----- The name ''Necropolis'' is from the Ancient Greek, νεκρόπολις (nekropolis), and means "city of the dead". About the Venue: The Old Church is the only remaining Elizabethan church in London and one of the oldest in the country to have been built as an Anglican church. It owes its origins to Stoke Newington’s sixteenth century Lord of the Manor, William Patten. In 1563 he decided to rebuild the old parish church, which had become almost derelict. You can see the date, and the motto ‘ab alto’ (‘from above’), above the main door. ----- We strive to create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where everyone feels comfortable being themselves. We do not tolerate any kind of racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, harassment, discrimination, or disrespect of any kind.
