In the first week of June, SPSound in association Display10 (Canarias Crea) presents a very special multi-disciplined showcase from artists from the Klitekture collective.
Display10 is the 4th annual Berlin Showcase of advanced music and related art from the Canary Islands. The event is an initiative from non-profit organization and experimental music label Klitekture. The Canarias Crea program at SPSound will consist of three parts. Moving Silence is a movie screening which will provide a modern interpretation on old silent movies with piano accompaniment. LOD’s real name is Luis Ortiz, he is the founder of Klitekture. LOD will provide live music to a contemporary dance performance by Carmelo Fernandez. A live performance by Krater will conclude the programe. Krater is an audio-visual project in which Ortiz is the main-figure. The Canaries Crea program has been well attended in Berlin for years. This summer they will visit Mexico and Amsterdam.
