Joshua Jesse Mettbach is the son of guitarist and bassist of the legendary band "Einstürzende Neubauten" alongside Blixa Bargeld since 1980 Alexander Hacke and Angela Mettbach, Joshua Jesse's mother, a veteran of the Berlin techno scene.
The artistic path was predetermined: At the tender age of three, Joshua Jesse was already playing hide-and-seek between the pit towers at Berlin's E-Werk when the exhibition "Chromapark" was shown there during the day at Easter, representing the first artistic balance of the techno scene. In his Kreuzberg children's room, little Joshi romped with DJs and musicians such as Westbam, Woody, Dj T, Chrislo Hass, or Inga Humpe when they came to visit.
