Community returns to celebrate its sixteen bday of existence. The highly unique party is hosted by legendary Mancunion DJ Irfan Rainy. A veteran on the scene going back to the infamous Hacienda in the 80s. Irfan has always tried to keep the under connect with New York, Chicago & Detroit club culture with his native city alive. Previous guests have included Disco / Boogie DJ Greg Wilson, NYC House legends Joe Claussell and Danny Krivit. Chicago disco DJ Rahaaan, Danilo Plessow aka MCDE, Afro house god Black Coffee, cult Broken Beat crew, Bugz In Da Attic and late great Detroit DJ Mike Huckaby. The party has also hosted live gigs with the Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Orchestra and Yussef Kamaal/ Kamaal Williams. Irfan says since lockdown ‘ we are almost starting again and developing a new local audience to show them the last 40 years of club culture and to keep developing one of the most unique dancing crowds in the UK. ‘
