Double Take is the perfect night for those that are passionate about leftfield, avant garde electronic dance music. Our curations are driven by those who platform innovative dance music, with focus on sound design, atmospheres and bass.
Showcasing talent from all over the UK, our only criteria is selecting those who dare to defy, live to experiment, and break the mould of what a traditional club night looks, feels and sounds like. Embracing genre-fluidity, our lineups are stacked with artists, musicians, DJs and performers who are situated on the outskirts of current art and music scenes.
Expect anything from baile funk, deconstructed club, UK dubstep, grime, dnb, industrial techno…… Matter of fact, expect the unexpected. From rib cage-rattling bass and ear-stimulating percussion, to ghostly vocals over left-field, deconstructed goodness and moody soundscapes, there is something for everyone. Prepare to come out a changed version of yourself.
Our night prioritises the platforming of underrepresented groups in UK club scenes, namely women, LGBTQIA+ folk, BIPOC and ESEA. We seek to challenge the status quo of club culture by making it a safer, more open-minded place.
