Join us for a very special night celebrating Felbm’s latest release: ‘Cycli Infini’; a 38-minute long cyclical composition created with metamorphosing tape loops, musical patterns and instrumental sketches. ‘Cycli Infini’ has no beginning or end (if play on repeat) creating essentially a never-ending piece that challenges the idea of the traditional listening process.
We are delighted to have Auntie Flo DJing at the event, then a listening session of ‘Cycli Infini’ (38 minute track) followed by a Q&A with Felbm hosted by Sean O'Hagan (The High Llamas/ Stereolab).
Felbm (real name Eelco Topper) is a Dutch musician, composer and producer. He has released 'Tape 1 & 2' then 'Tape 3 & 4' followed by 'Elements of Nature' via Soundway Records. We are now so pleased to have this fourth release dropping on 21st of July.
Bar Doña has delicious cocktails and tacos so we are up for a treat!
Make sure to arrive from 7 to 8pm as we will close doors for the listening session.
