This week, the past, the present and the future of urban music takes the streets — yep, it's YéYé Fora de Portas night!
“Outside”, a triad of national and international talent. DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist from Bogotá, capital of Colombia, Felipe Gordon is nothing less than a phenomenon — in the last two years, he consolidated a rich and consistent path, which already has several releases and collaborations with some of the most reputable labels out there and introduced us to a perfect fusion — which he does, apparently, without much effort — of samples from jazz, piano and acid bass lines to incredibly distinctive and unique house records. This is one to watch, listen to us!
To top off a memorable night, we also received the warmth of soul and funk — favorite sounds from Pedro Tenreiro, who offers us his expertise and good music (and records, many records) as always — and we also dive into in the infinity of underground music with Francisco Esp. — the man behind O Sótão —, with a little special attention to jazz, deep house and instrumental hip hop.
