GOT MUSIC SOCIAL CLUB are back for July, and this month we’ve secured the talents of one of Australia’s most accomplished magistrates of Motor City inspired machine music, electro and broken beat sounds, Peter Elmaloglou aka Biz-E.
Not many major electronic music event flyers in Australia throughout the 90’s and 2000’s were without Biz’s name on the lineup. Playing alongside and working with names such as Richie Hawtin, Derrick May, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, thru to Jeff Mills, Carl Craig, Aphex Twin and more, Biz has been a supporter of pure Techno for the best part of 35 years.
Wearing many hats throughout his career in music, Biz has run record stores, toured international DJs such as Derrick May, Juan Atkins, Carl Craig, Claude Young, DJ Godfather and DJ Rolando, tutored students in the use of music hardware for Roland and released many original recordings both here and overseas, with a new EP, "Waves Of Wonderment" released on CLIQ, just this week.
Expect body jacking sounds and heady grooves when Biz steps up to the Blended decks at The Lord Gladstone on Friday the 28th, joined by Lucas Pisani aka Man of Starz, extended family member Dan Collins aka HC11 and GMSC regulars LP and Sinclair.
