Jack J brings his live band to Berlin for a very special live show this September, playing tracks from his highly praised debut full length 'Opening the Door'.
As one half of Pender Street Steppers and releasing records over a number of years on the perennial Vancouver label Mood Hut, Jack's music has been quietly shapeshifting from a jazzy, lo-fi club shuffle into dub-embellished ambient pop.
We're buzzed to have Ms Ray and her percussionist join from the UK in support for the show. Ms Ray's music is forged in the echoes of silky street soul and forgotten 80's synth-pop auteurs, and has been steadily garnering attention since her EP 'Wow is Now' in 2020.
Completing the lineup is DJ and record collector Llupe. As a resident of Berlin's very own Refuge Worldwide, his choice downtempo and balearic cuts will keep us all moving between sets and 'til close.
