For the fourth and final edition of Sub Division’s ON/OFF series, we’re bringing together another stellar lineup of the most exciting and innovative DJs in the scene for what will be an unforgettable night!
First up is Jacques Greene, artist name of Philippe Aubin-Dionne, the Montreal-born and raised DJ and producer – one of dance music’s most captivating and enigmatic talents. The young house and RnB producer has given the current musical landscape progressively deeper ideas of what house music can mean in the new decade. Jacques Greene’s sparkling original productions include the genre defining ‘Another Girl’, a house anthem with future RnB leanings that would go on to inspire countless imitations. This was followed by a series of acclaimed EP releases on LuckyMe including ’On Your Side’, ‘Phantom Vibrate’ and ‘After Life After Party’ that saw Greene’s world tour cross US, CA, UK, EU and Asia and take host of BBC Radio 1’s Residency programme. He has released two albums, Feel Infinite (2017) and Dawn Chorus (2019).
Next on the lineup is Dauwd, a talented electronic music producer hailing from Wales, United Kingdom, now based in Berlin. Known for his distinct sound that blends elements of house, techno, and ambient music, Dauwd has established himself as a notable figure in the electronic music scene. His productions often feature intricate rhythms, lush textures, and a deep, atmospheric quality. Dauwd's music stands out for its emotive melodies and carefully crafted sonic landscapes that transport listeners to otherworldly realms. Throughout his career, Dauwd has released a string of well-received tracks and EPs on respected labels such as Kompakt, Ghostly International, and Technicolour. His tracks like "Silverse," "Ikopol," and "Theory of Colours" showcase his meticulous attention to detail and his ability to create immersive musical experiences. He now runs his own label called Psssh Records.
Third on the bill is Maayan Nidam, a talented DJ, producer, and live performer in the electronic music scene. Hailing from Tel Aviv, Israel, she has established herself as a respected figure in the industry with her unique sound and captivating performances. With releases on esteemed labels such as Perlon, Cadenza, and Wolf + Lamb, Maayan Nidam has gained recognition for her innovative approach to production. Her tracks, including "Don't Know Why," "Sunday Sunday," and "Before Light," showcase her ability to craft mesmerizing compositions that resonate with listeners on a deep level. Maayan Nidam's talents have taken her to renowned clubs and festivals worldwide, where she has shared her music with audiences who appreciate her artistic vision and exceptional skills.
Fourth on the bill is Sid LeRock, also known as Pan/Tone, who is a prominent electronic music producer, DJ, and vocalist. Hailing from Canada, now based in Berlin, Sid LeRock has made a significant impact on the international music scene with his diverse and genre-blending sound. Under his Pan/Tone alias, Sid LeRock has released numerous acclaimed albums and EPs on respected labels like Kompakt and Beachcoma. Tracks such as "Almost Eternity" and "Shelby" exemplify his ability to craft infectious grooves while maintaining a distinct emotional depth. With his dedication to innovation and his penchant for pushing musical boundaries, Sid LeRock continues to evolve as an artist, continually exploring new sonic territories. His passion for music and his creative vision have solidified his status as a respected and influential figure in the electronic music community.
Last but not least is Sub Division’s programmer and resident DJ, Zoi.
