Mix Nights takes over Propyard with a vibrant summer party featuring I.Jordan, Elena Colombi, Amaliah, Mix Nights co-creators Daisy Moon and Em Williams and Saffron alumni, Caragh.
This event is a fundraiser event for Mix Night's sister programme Saffron - Saffron is a music tech initiative taking an intersectional approach to redressing the gender imbalance in the industry that recently had its funding cut.
All profits from this event will go towards sustaining Saffron’s work creating a fairer and more inclusive future music industry.
About Saffron
As a non-profit organisation, Saffron’s mission has been to advance gender equality in the music tech sector by creating safer spaces for marginalised people to learn, create and grow confidently through forward-thinking technological music creation, DJ and music industry experience.
Their work focuses on educational courses, online workshops, mentoring, a global members club and an artist development and label platform. They are building a future industry that is inclusive and diverse. Founded in Bristol UK in 2015, Saffron has grown from a one-woman operation to an initiative supporting thousands of people worldwide to find music education and community.
