London's Brokntoys label hosts a special night at arkoada Berlin on August 26th, 2023.
Label artists Morah, Barking & Interviews will bring a diverse range of sounds, from full mayhem industrial, post-punk and electro right through to abstract italo, gothic technoid steppers and menacing downtempo.
Morah
Direct from Athens' bustling scene, Morah's unhinged take on punk fueled electro has seen releases on labels such as Helena Hauff's Return to Disorder, Berceuse Heroique and of course Brokntoys. His DJ sets have an unmatched energy, traversing industrial, post punk and electro, always with a raw and twisted edge.
Barking
Gareth Psaltis AKA Barking is an Australian producer based in Berlin. Barking’s recent tape appearing on Brokntoys saw the artist melding harsh, electro-acoustic techniques with heavy, downtempo beats, taking influence from genres like trip-hop, techno, dub & industrial.
Interviews
Berlin-based producer Markus Gebauer AKA Interviews left a lasting impression with his efforts on labels Ortloff and Bitterfeld, before releasing a remarkable self-titled EP on Brokntoys, showcasing his throbbing blend of Italo, EBM and electro.
