After a successful debut in London, we continue our event series in Berlin where we head to the former underground U - Bahn toilet now turned infamous nightclub- Zur Klappe. This industrial concreted haven is both intimate and powerful in setting and sound; The perfect space for the Animaux experience.
We have invited one of the most forward thinking, uncompromising artists to have inhabited the minimal landscape in the last two decades, having run two successful labels each with unique aesthetic and musical vision as well as having a plethora of incredible releases spanning an eclectic range of styles and tastes to his name. He is also highly accomplished DJ and passionate record collector with keen ears for groove and atmosphere in his selections.
Animaux welcomes René Audiard; Owner of Blank Slate and Supply Records. With releases on Parama, Secret Society Chile, The Double R and Eklo to name but a few, René Audiard has been a leading voice in the more eclectic & avant- garde corners of the scene.
Under his real name Soren Jahan, he recently released the album "137" on Nina Kravis' label трип; Marking the culmination of years of dedication in the studio- Effortlessly presented as a collection of 16 intricately crafted minimal/ ambient excursions.
Expect a very special set, bringing you late into the night and beyond.
