In early 2023, a wave of techno purism swept Berlin, which led to new legislation effectively banning the mixing of musical genres in Diskotheks. Strongly opposed to this new law, the ravishing members of the MEGA BUFF SQUAD began illegal operations in underground disco crimes such as sample dealing, synthesiser trafficking, funkateering, electro bootlegging, breakbeat extortion, beat peddling, and selling funk straight outta the trunk. The increased activity in the production of incredibly dope beats further encouraged this ragtag hybrid assortment of ruffneck producers and MCs to band together to release the first MEGA BUFF: VARIOUS ARTISTS album which was released September 1st. Due to popular raving demand, and despite great risk to themselves, the MEGA BUFF SQUAD band together once more to celebrate their album release in a former gay cruising toilet where multiple live acts and the adoption of various styles of funky breakbeats will come together in harmonious communal bliss. We ain’t no regular Berlin Casablanaca.
