NEON RODEO CREATIVE CONFERENCE — UTAH'S ONE-OF-A-KIND SHOWCASE OF ELECTRIFYING MUSIC, ART, AND CREATIVITY AT THE CROSSROADS OF THE WEST
SEPTEMBER 15, 16, & 17th, 2023
Neon Rodeo Creative Conference returns this September 15-17 to round up the best of the West while transfusing rhythm, culture, and raw creativity from select cities around the globe. What started as an immersive experience exploring the foundations of House music expands its scope in hopes of becoming a nexus of untapped creativity in the region.
SAN FRANCISCO x SALT LAKE CITY
This year Neon Rodeo invites the city of San Francisco to SLC for its unique blend of beats, technology, and psychedelic funk. The conference turned modern-day ‘rodeo’ is framed around three areas of creativity: Experience, Music, and Art, resulting in an immersive showcase for the masses. For three days, at seven venues, peaking on Saturday the 16th on the 200 Block, 50+ artists, DJs, designers, innovators, and cultural luminaries engage in panels and workshops that are intertwined with a citywide urban dance music festival featuring Bay Area DJs/producers David Harness, Galen, Brown Amy, Jay-J, Mauricio Aviles.
The conference panels at Spy Hop on Friday the 15th and The Mayor Voss on Saturday the 16th feature established and up-and-coming music, fashion, and arts industry professionals in conversation about their career paths and creative journeys. Special guests include Paul Dillinger, Vice President, Head of Global Product Innovation at Levi Strauss & Co.; Michael “MEGA” Yabut Founder, Creative Director at BLACK SCALE; Jay-J, Shifted Music Producer/DJ and Grammy Nominee; Galen, Co-Founder of Sunset Sound System, and Sunset Campout Festival; Travis Kirschbaum, DJ, Producer, Beatport Label Manager; plus Amanda Lynn, a Muralist and Fine Artist based in Northern California who will also be painting live at FICE Gallery.
In its third year, Neon Rodeo is fast becoming a representation of the new Wild West. Expect the unexpected at this dynamic exhibition of ideas, talent, and tenacity.
