Bodily has been been invited by Night Fund to produce and programme day 4 of 'Sound Of London' festival, focusing on London’s rich underground music scene ↴
“Day 4, the final day, is hosted by Bodily —a community space that explores electronic music with a conscious and interconnected ethos. Bodily collaborates with innovative artists, both on and off the dance floor, to create alternative ways of experiencing sound. Expect mesmerising sonic journeys through DJ sets and live electronic performances that will resonate through mind and body alike.”
The evening will begin with an introduction to the Bodily experience, a guided intuitive movement session encouraging physical expression, human connection and deep listening to a diverse musical palette. The Bodily movement session will propel us into the evening, elevating and priming us ready for the proceeding performances.
20:00 - 21:15 Bodily [FYI Robyn]
At Bodily, we aim to merge our passion for party culture and well-being, forging a hybrid experience that fosters liberation in both the mind and body. Founder FYI Robyn will guide an intuitive movement session, soundtracking the journey, and fostering physical expression, human connection, and attentive listening to a diverse musical palette drawn from London's experimental scenes. This Bodily movement session will propel us into the evening, elevating and priming us for the proceeding performances.
21:15 - 22:00 Intertoto [live]
After becoming firmly addicted to Intertoto’s debut album ‘Thermal Shadows’ released in 2023, which was evocatively described by Rubadub as “Fathoms-deep aquatic rumblings, slow mo tech & dynamic sound design…”, he was an obvious booking for Bodily. Intertoto effortlessly combines magical 8-bit samplers with advanced modern processing, creating contemporary and immersive sonic experiences that invite the mind to wander through intricate, hazy textures, unveiling an infinite flow of captivating melodies. We're honored to have Intertoto for his debut live performance at Bodily.
22:00 - 23:30 Kincaid
Following this is another artist & sound designer steeped in the UK’s underground experimental scene. Kincaid, born and raised in South London will be taking us through a genre-bending set of otherworldly soundscapes and rhythms. Kincaid’s prowess behind the decks is matched by his diverse catalogue of productions. Heard on labels such as Well Street, Accidental Meetings, Grid and Redstone press, his releases become fascinatingly more unpredictable than the last, yet still maintaining a clear instinct for forward-thinking sound design and expression.
23:30 - 00:30 Saskia [live]
Hailing from Tokyo and now based in Bristol, Saskia’s passion for music and art is felt with the whole body. Her distinct rhythmic patterns are hypnotic, driving and deftly executed with a mission to understand the role of the body. With a fervor for broken-beats, spatial soundscapes, bass, techno, and tribal-like percussive flurries, her sound is one that crosses into London’s scene. Having witnessed Saskia captivate the En Masse audience in 2022, we knew she’d be a future booking. In her quest to explore the realms of sonic possibilities, we are stoked to announce Saskia's inclusion in the Bodily lineup for our upcoming event.

Our final artist needs little introduction for many involved in London’s music scene. Elle Andrews, born and raised in South London has been a key figure in the underground music scene for over a decade, with her sound evoking the patchwork of the mood and pace of the city. Her uncanny fluidity and skill behind the decks, and ever diverse sound palette, Elle Andrews never fails to impress upon those lucky to see her sets. She is one half of SOUVENIR, co-founder of celebrated label MAL Recordings alongside Jon K, resident of LYL radio and contributor to the iconic Trilogy Tapes series. Elle Andrew’s accolades offer a sense of her talent, and something we are extremely proud to present at Bodily.

Bringing both their effortlessly precise sound-system and unique lighting design capabilities, Parametrica are sure to add the final layer to this unique off-shoot of the Bodily concept.
