MAURO SOMM
Mauro Sebastian Sommaruga, 24 years old, was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His incursion into the world of electronic music began at the early age of 8, where he found an album by someone called 'David Guetta' named Blaster in his home. In that moment, he fell completely in love with the genre, the sounds, the well-known '4 to the floor' rhythm, with its energy and, above all, the vibe. There was no turning back.
Over the years his hearing developed, covering almost all genres of electronic music.
At the age of 10 he decided to become a DJ of electronic music which at that time was predominantly of the famous Electro House and later Bigroom, Progressive House and then Trance.
Throughout his life he met several DJs/Producers who ended up being his friends and colleagues. They encouraged him to start producing.
Then he decided to take the big step to start with the music production which quickly and surprisingly stands out, reaching a commercial and well defined sound, along with his own style and brand in his songs. At this point the genre that Mauro is mainly aiming at is Techno.
His productions are characterized by their powerful bass and hits, added to the fine work on his synthesizers making them sound rich and 'HiFi'.
He worked with labels like Tronic Music, Unrilis, IAMT, DOLMA Recordings, Bloodymoon Records, Etc. He also has more exciting tracks to be released this year !
The remix of his track 'The Bass' released on Bloody Moon Records is on the Top 10 Hype Techno Chart from Beatport and Top 20 in Global Techno Chart of the same site !
His track "Uncensored" also reached number 30 in the Top 100 Global Techno (PEAK TIME / DRIVING / HARD) on Beatport. To be at this peak for a whole month and to celebrate his second success with it.
His latest success is ''Deep Control'' released on the mighty Unrilis reaching out Top 6 of the Hype Peak Time Techno Top, 22 on the Main Techno top and Top 45 on the Global Hype Top of Beatport ! Makin it one of the best sellers of this amazing top notch label.
Mauro Somm played on amazing clubs along with really well known artists from the Argentinian techno scene such as Jonas Kopp, Victoria Engel, Brian Gros, Jorge Cicioli, etc. Also gained the support from top notch artists from the international scene as Christian Smith, UMEK, Popof, Space 92, Spartaque, Balthazar & JackRock, GALLYA, Sam Wolfe, etc.
Also he started to play on international tours since the begining of 2022 being Uruguay, Montevideo his first show ! In just two years of career this artist already crossed frontiers, it is a big success.
MAC VAUGHN
Mac Vaughn, Peak Time Techno artist and Label Head of Fierce Animal Recordings, is a true pioneer of the Techno Scene and a beacon of inspiration both in the United States and worldwide. Mac Vaughn’s recent accomplishments include the release of his latest EP, “Dont Trip,”which reached #42 in the top 100 Peak Hour Techno on Beatport with remixes from Canadian artist ATROXX, his Sonic Academy Master Class, and the monthly events he curates in San Francisco.
TATTOO PUDGE
Tattoopudge, affectionately known as Pudgie by his peers and fans alike, is a fresh highlight DJ in Los Angeles’ hot underground techno scene. With roots going back to house parties in 1990, Tattoopudge has watched the scene grow in a way few have been around to appreciate, and his influences and sound are a direct reflection of that experience. With early influences like Bad Boy Bill, Humpty Vision, and DJ Irene, Pudgie found a love for powerful and groovy dance music that never left him. After learning to DJ in 2018, Tattoopudge took his time to grow his skills and his repertoire.
By 2020, he was practicing regularly and in March 2021, he played his first major gig at a warehouse in Detroit.
SOLSTICE
With early roots as a soul, funk and disco bass player, Solstice has brought life to dance floors for decades. These days he can be found sharing his love for Techno, House and Nu Disco to the underground desert scene in L.A. and throwing renegades in the Bay Area.
