Born in São Paulo, Ney Faustini is a producer and DJ as ecletic as the immensely diverse city’s musical scenario. He’s got an unbreakable commitment to music from every origin and style. Ney Faustini, a native of São Paulo, is a rare product of the most relevant transformations that have occurred in the city's music scene in recent decades, becoming one of the most prominent examples of a commitment to music from a variety of origins and stylistic purposes. A devotee of the sounds of Detroit, Chicago, NY and UK, he has been a frequent presence in the line-ups of some of the most important Brazilian clubs for over 15 years and has performed at renowned events such as Rock In Rio, Boiler Room, Dekmantel, DGTL and Tribaltech.
His reputation as one of Brazil's most prolific music producers has been attested by labels around the world. He recently signed a version of "Corre-Corre" for Rita Lee's remix album and released a collaboration with legendary drummer Ivan Conti "Mamão”, from the jazz band Azymuth. He is also known for his extensive vinyl collection and deep research into Brazilian music records. No matter how much experience he accumulates over the course of his brilliant career, his sets and productions are the materialization of a creative and enormous desire to invent and reinvent himself, placing Ney Faustini among the most established and respected artists in the country.
