The Model & Binder are delighted to announce the fifth edition of Spilt Milk Festival, Sligo’s annual festival of music, art, and film. This year sees the biggest programme to date with over 20 scheduled performances and events encompassing experimental, electronic, and folk artists including Moundabout, Elaine Howley, Natalia Beylis, Cáit, Rising Damp along with art installations, screenings, and workshops, within the unique settings of The Model, Sligo, on 17, 18 and 19 November. This year, the Festival also sees the return of ‘Junior Jam’ comprising of a workshop and concert, this special event introduces young people and their families to experimental music with a gig of their own in a safe and fun environment. Spilt Milk Festival was founded in 2019 to extend Sligo’s artistic and festival calendar into the winter and provide a platform for experimental art across music, sound art, video and film. Presenting national and international artists alongside emerging local acts drawn from the leftfield and fringes of alternative music.
