A product of the San Francisco dance music boom that birthed legendary names like Sunset Sound System and the Wicked Crew, Doc Martin’s relocation to Los Angeles in the early 90s and integration into LA’s thriving rave scene set him on course to become the international legend he remains. Over the course of his 30+ year career, he’s played all over the globe, ran Wax, Sublevel and numerous sublabels, held residencies at Twilo, the Tunnel, Roxy, Metropolitan, The End in London, and numerous other renowned clubs and parties, and stayed true to his own genre-bending style, encompassing house, techno, acid, funky tribal rhythms, heavy basslines and everything in between. Still as relevant and busy now as ever, he continues to enjoy a strong following across the US and the world as one of the originators of the sound.
