美しき旋律とともに彩鮮やかな時が流れだす
年を跨ぐその前に集う音楽家たちは、生誕50年を迎える今現在のNujabesをコンセプトに初披露されるHydeout ProductionsによるプロジェクトNujabes Metaphorical Ensemble。美しくも儚く、そして力強い、かつてない音楽を聴くことができるだろう。さらにはNujabesが生前に敬愛し、その音楽性に傾倒してきた、スピリチュアルなダンスミュージックを奏でるJoe Claussellが来日。2016年に限定12inchで届けられた当時未発表のNujabes音源 “Child’s Attraction” はJoe Claussellの手により生演奏で魂が吹き込まれ、同氏が手掛けた作品の中でも珠玉の名作として輝き続けている。flow開催直前となるタイミングで発表された完全新作のリミックスはピアノの旋律も美しいNujabesへの想いが詰め込まれた素晴らしい楽曲になっている。
最終ラインナップには東京が誇る2人のトップ・ヴァイナル・ディガー DJ NORIとMUROによるCaptain Vinyl、 舐達麻の楽曲FLOATIN‘ではNujabesと同じネタを用いたサンプリングワークで一躍トップ・プロデューサーとなったGREEN ASSASSIN DOLLAR、Joe Claussell とは旧知の間柄にして国内屈指のハウスデュオDazzle Drumsに、今や世界中からオファーの絶えない7インチの魔術師ことDJ KOCO a.k.a. SHIMOKITAが登場。Nujabes Metaphorical EnsembleのライヴとJoe Claussellに加えて、ヒップホップからハウスミュージックを縦断する、flowsならではのラインナップになっている。

The Musicians gather before New Year's Eve are Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble, the project created by Hydeout Productions, will be premiered with the concept of the Nujabes of today, celebrating 50 years since its birth. You will hear unprecedented music that is beautiful, fragile, and powerful.
In addition, Joe Claussell will come to join the event. He plays spiritual dance music and whom Nujabes admired during his lifetime and has been devoted to his musicality,
The unreleased Nujabes track "Child's Attraction" delivered in 2016 on a limited 12-inch, was brought to life live by Joe Claussell and it continues to shine as one of the gems of his work. The completely new remixes, which will be released just before the "flows", are wonderful tracks with beautiful piano melodies and filled with Joe’s feelings for Nujabes.
The full lineup includes Captain Vinyl who are by the two of Tokyo's top vinyl diggers, DJ NORI and MURO, GREEN ASSASSIN DOLLAR who has become a one of the top producers with his sampling work using the same material as Nujabes in Namedaruma's song “FLOATIN’”, Dazzle Drums who are the long-time friends of Joe Claussell, being one of the best house duos in Japan and also DJ KOCO a.k.a. SHIMOKITA who is known as the 45 wizard, receiving offers from all over the world. In addition to the Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble's live performance and Joe Claussell, the full lineup is unique to flows, spanning hip-hop to house music.
